Wayne Robert Rossman, 81, of Oakdale, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022, in his
home.

Mr. Rossman was born on May 31, 1941 in Oakdale, son of the late John and Cecelia (Dotchin)
Rossman.

Wayne served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Champlain and the USS Kitty Hawk,
was a longtime mechanic for Lane Block, and was the custodian manager for West Allegheny
School District. Mr. Rossman loved his family dearly and he enjoyed spending time with his
children and his grandchildren. He was very fond of camping, watching the Pittsburgh Penguins,
and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was so proud of the life that he and his
wife had created over the years.

Survived by his loving wife, Cora Dean (Holland) Rossman, children; Kimberly (Matthew)
Rohbeck of Oakdale, Tracy Schilo of Noblestown, and Wayne Rossman, Jr. of Oakdale,
grandchildren; Shannon (Brad) Hahn, Matthew (Megan) Rohbeck, Jr., Katelyn, Rylee, Michael
(Leah) Cherokee and Grace, great grandchildren; Elaina and Kenzie Hahn, and siblings John (Pat)
Rossman, Jr., Gary Rossman, and Karen Fall.

Along with his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his sister, Carol Elkins.

A Military burial service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the National
Cemetery of the Alleghenies. All are asked to arrive between 12:30-12:45 at the cemetery.
