Obituary for Warren J. DallaPiazza
Warren J. DallaPiazza, 66, of McDonald, Robinson Twp., passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, August 27, 2021, in his home.
Warren was born on November 15, 1954, in Allegheny, PA, a son of the late Warren J. (1998) and Olive D. (2012) (Prevost) DallaPiazza.
Warren was a simple, hardworking and loving man. Mr. DallaPiazza was a retired truck driver for his family business, Piazza Brothers Coal and General Hauling. He also put in 30 years with Lime Stone Products and most recently retired from South Fayette Township Municipal Authority. In the little free time that Warren had he loved watching NASCAR, playing Euchre, and checking out any Harley Davidson he could find. Mr. DallaPiazza passed down his love for working to his children and grandchildren. Each member of his family learned to value of all the hard work to make a perfect life. Warren was proud of all his children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them more than anything. He was a great teacher, and each lesson that his family learned will always remain with them.
Surviving are his children; Anthony “Guido” (Amy) DallaPiazza of McDonald, Angela (Thomas) Wellman of New Castle, and Christa (Ryan) Unik of Imperial, grandchildren, Dominic and Dante DallaPiazza, Marina and Scarlett Unik and Ethan Springer, friend and former wife, Rita Paiani, and sister, Gina L. (Mike) Ooghe of Canonsburg.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-693-2800). A service will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10 a.m. at McDonald Presbyterian Church. Friends and family are asked to meet at church on Wednesday.
