Thomas celebrated 60 years of marriage with his wife Elizabeth on June 29, 2022.

Mr. Douglas was a proud United States Army Veteran, having served in Germany and Lebanon. Thomas’s favorite passion was spending time with his family and traveling with his wife to many different places. A favorite family destination was the Outer Banks of North Carolina where many special memories were made.

He was blessed to be a loving husband, father, Papa and great-Papa. He enjoyed breakfasts on Monday’s and Wednesday’s with his “breakfast buddy” and great grandson Dominic.

He loved and was loved by many family pets over the years.

Thomas enjoyed sports, history, science and woodworking. He had a great natural artistic ability. He never missed watching a Pitt football game and enjoyed sideline coaching from his living room.
