Obituary for Theresa Ann Coleman (Simonic)

Theresa Ann Coleman, age 78 of McDonald passed peacefully at home with her children and grandchildren by her side.

Our Mom was an amazing homemaker who took great pride and taking care of Our Dad and us. We could always count on her to have a homemade after school snack and a hug. The Christmas season was always her favorite and along with Dad, they would make every Christmas magical for their children.

Ba, as her grandkids affectionately called her, was most proud of her grandkids. She loved babysitting and doing crafts with them when they were small. As they grew older, she loved to go shopping and to lunch with Hannah and Hayley, watching AJ, Jake, and Chloe play hockey, enjoying visits and helping in the yard with Giovanni and Christian, and joking and laughing at home with Caleb and Bryce.

Mom was so happy when she spent time with her brothers. Especially Jack and his wife Mary. Theresa and Mary were best friends for over 60 years. Whether it was visiting at each other’s homes, going to lunch or just talking on the phone- Theresa , Jack and Mary always had the best time reminiscing and laughing. Our Mom also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Maria, Milissa and Amy were her absolute favorites, and always thought of her no matter what.

Our mom was a great cook, an amazing baker, and the best mother and Ba we as her family could ever ask for. She would’ve wanted to be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, Ba, Sister, Aunt and Friend. We will miss her so very much, and we love her with all of our hearts.

Surviving are her children, Allen J. (Susan) Coleman, Theresa R. (William) Boros and Michelle A. (Sam Piccolo) Gigliotti, grandchildren, Alec (Jordan) Coleman, Jacob(Sydney) Coleman, Chloe Coleman, Caleb Boros, Bryce Boros, Hannah Gigliotti, Hayley(Aarón)Gigliotti, Giovanni Gigliotti and Christian Gigliotti, great grandchildren, Hadley Coleman and Henrik Coleman, and brother Jack (Mary) Simonic.

Along with her parents, Theresa is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward J. Coleman (07/25/2007) and brothers Thomas Simonic and Kenneth Simonic.
