Obituary for Steven Welhorsky III
Steven Welhorsky, III, 46, of McDonald, North Fayette Township, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian.
Steven was born on November 8, 1975, in Montclair, New Jersey a son of Steven Welhorsky, Jr., of McDonald, North Fayette Township and the late Lynn (Ridings) Welhorsky.
Mr. Welhorsky was a graduate of Slippery Rock University where he received a Bachelor’s of Science and also a graduate of University of Phoenix, with his Masters in Public Health. While in school at Slippery Rock, Steven played as a long snapper for their football team. Steven enjoyed his years at school and cherished the lasting friendships he made there. As life went on Steven worked as a nursing home administrator for a few different local companies. More than anything, Steven loved his dogs, cars and his family.
Stevens’s dogs were his life, they kept him going through the hardest times and loved him unconditionally. His most prized possessions were his 2015 Hell Cat and his T-Rex Ram pickup. Steven enjoyed taking motorcycle trips with his brother and dad. They enjoyed their time together on the road and always enjoyed stopping for dinner and some ice cream.
Along with his father, surviving is his brother, Michael (Missy) Welhorsky, nephew, Drew and niece, Kendall, uncle, Walt (Robin) Keonig and cousins, Brian and Courtney.
All arrangements are private and entrusted to Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Rd., Oakdale (724-693-2800).
