Obituary for Shirley F. Yerse (Lyda)
Shirley F. (Lyda) Yerse, 87, of Oakdale, South Fayette Twp., passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Bridgeville Rehabilitation and Care Center.
Shirley was born on November 9, 1934 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Frank and Mae (Phenicie) Lyda.
Mrs. Yerse was a nurse’s aid for Kane Hospital for over 30 years.
Surviving are her children, Jerry (Glenda) Yerse of AZ, Mark (Diosa) Yerse of SC, and Valerie Yerse of Bridgeville, and 3 grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene “Dixie” Yerse (1996), sister, Dorothy Murray, and a son, Gary Yerse (1981)
