Sarah was an incredibly selfless person, always generous with her time and love. Her heart was truly made of gold and it shined the brightest when she spoke of her family. She loved them fiercely and was so proud of the people they have become.

She loved her cats dearly along with the Pittsburgh Penguins. She never missed a game and was a devout fan, cheering them on win or lose.

Mondin, whom she married on July 1, 1989; children, Phillip (Jordan) Mondin and AJ (Cheryl) Mondin; grandchildren, AJ and Trevor Mondin; brother, Tony (Ann) Collinger; nieces, Anita (Tim) Wenning, Angela Collinger; nephews, Tony (Erica) Collinger, Nick (Nancy) Collinger; and seven great nieces and nephews Luke, Matthias, Felix, Clara Rose, Violet, Iva, and Arlo.

In addition to her parents, Sarah is preceded in death by her sister, Anita Rose Collinger, who died in 1979 and her step father, James Sabatasse.

At Sarah’s request, there will be no public viewing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11 A.M. at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish – Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
