Obituary for Sandra L. Dewey
Sandra L. “Sandy” Dewey, 74, of McDonald, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, in Donnell House, Washington.
Sandy was born on February 19, 1947, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Jules V. and Lorraine (Snatchko) Dewey.
Sandy was a homemaker all her life. She loved playing bingo and was even a bingo caller for some time. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. Not only did playing bingo and cards keep her entertained, but so did her phone. Sandy was always playing a game on her phone or scrolling through her social media. Above all she loved to spend time with her family, her children, sisters, brothers and nieces, as they were so special to her. They always brought a smile to her face and she cherished her time with them.
Surviving are her children, Jamie Grady, James W. Grady and Ben Mindek, siblings, Carolyn “Cathy” Jordan, Theresa Dewey, Randy (Judy) Dewey, Jules “Buddy” (Kelly) Dewey, Ronald (Leslie) Dewey, granddaughter, Cheryl Grady, and great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Ducati Grady.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Janell Grady and sister, Linda Jeanette.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., in care of the Dewey family. All arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-926-2800).
A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 2:00 - 6:00 PM, at the McDonald Trail Station, 151 S. McDonald St, McDonald, PA 15057
