Obituary for Robert L. Sparber
Robert L. Sparber, 83, of McMurray, Peters Twp., passed away on May 20, 2021, in Premier Washington Health Center, Washington.
Mr. Sparber was born on December 24, 1937, in McDonald, a son of the late Charles and Sarah (McGinnis) Sparber.
Robert was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, and a retired truck driver for Russell Standard CO. When not driving truck he loved being outdoors, either farming, hunting or gardening.
Surviving is his loving wife, Kathleen (Boyle) Sparber, whom he married in 1965, and son, Robert (Vicky Moreno) Sparber, of Beachview, grandchildren; Shawn (Chelsea) Sparber, Dustin and Madison Sparber, and Ian Moreno, brother, Edward (Carolyn) Sparber, and sister-in-law, Ramona Sparber.
Along with his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Ray Sparber.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, 24, 2021, from 4-8 p.m. in Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Rd., Oakdale (724-693-2800) Inurnment will take place on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 10 a.m., in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Rd., Bridgeville. Honors will be performed by VFW Post #191.
