RICHARD L. BAILEY
Richard L. Bailey, 87, of Zephryhills, FL, formerly of McDonald, PA, died Friday, May 28, 2021, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Lakeland, FL.
He was born November 23, 1933, a son of the late Otmer and Naomi (Conn) Bailey.
Richard was an avid fan of Dale Earnardt and Nascar. He enjoyed fishing and watching Tiger Woods. He was a Korea War veteran serving in the Marines and retired from the Local #66 Operating Engineers after 50 years of service.
Surviving are his children: Keith (Michelle) Bailey, Amy (Vernon)Ward and Daryl Bailey; his three grandchildren: Lauren Bailey, Carrie (Matthew Campbell) Conaway and Janine (Michael) Mixter; his two great-grandchildren: Keith Jr and Karsyn Grace as well as his brother, Donald (Joyce) Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Bailey.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at the Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. 314 W. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald PA and where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
