Obituary for Renee Peffley (Perry)

Renee (Perry) Peffley, 69, of Imperial, passed away on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8, 2022, in Allegheny General Hospital.

Renee was born on August 20, 1952, in New Kensington a daughter of the late James and Olga (Macera) Perry.

Mrs. Peffley was a customer service representative in the real estate industry. She was also a member of St. Columbkille R.C. Church in Imperial. Renee was a very proud democrat and member of the American Civil Liberties Union. She was also a big pet lover, Renee always made sure to give back to the four-legged friends that didn’t have a home. She was an advocate and supporter of her local Humane Society. Being the pet lover she was, Renee enjoyed spending her time with her dog, Jake. He was her best friend and they were always side by side. Jake was always in the kitchen when Renee was baking one of her famous deserts, making sure he would catch all her crumbs. Renee also enjoyed her time outside, especially when flowers were just starting to bloom. Above all, the most important part of Renee’s life was her family. She loved the time she was able to spend with her husband, kids and grandkids. They have always been the light of her life and another reason for Renee to smile.

Surviving is her loving husband, Ted Peffley, children; Paul (Lisa) Gallo, Lindsay (Aaron Crissman) Peters, and James Gallo, grandchildren; Dillon, Madison and Riley, mother-in-law, Carolyn Peffley, and many cousins.

Along with her parents, Renee is preceded in death by her brother, James Perry, Jr.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish – St. Columbkille Church, 103 Church Rd, Imperial, PA 15126. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 or the ASPCA, 1101 Western Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
