Obituary for Patricia "Patti" Kozlowski (Lipinski)
Patricia Lipinski Kozlowski, 74, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of McDonald, Robinson Township, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in her home in South Carolina.
Patti was born on September 24, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Sylvester and Lucille Knorr Lipinski.
Mrs. Kozlowski was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish – St. Columbkille Church, in Imperial. Patti retired as a check collector for Federal Reserve Bank, where she spent many years. Before and after retirement, Patti enjoyed watching birds and other wildlife that visited her feeders at her home. She also enjoyed gardening, particularly growing potted flowers. Patti was married to her late husband, Greg Kozlowski and her life felt complete. They were each other’s best friends and enjoyed every moment together. Greg and Patti were married for 23 years, when Greg passed away on July 17, 2011. Patti and Greg’s dream was to move to the beach when they grew older. After some time and consideration, Patti decided she was going to live their dream and she moved to Myrtle Beach. Her simplistic spirit was overjoyed by simply being near the beach. Patti could now sit at home, be by the beach and shop and watch QVC all she wanted. Patti loved the people that she had met in the few years that she had been in Myrtle Beach. Her neighbors became friends that turned into family. She loved walking her dogs around her community and stopping to talk all her friends. Patti adored her dogs, Gia and Lily, and she loved keeping them active on their daily walks. Patti was the ultimate “dog mom”, she spoiled her pups like you wouldn’t believe, but that was just the way she liked it.
There was nothing that Patti loved more than her family. They were her biggest supporters and they never wavered in their love for her. Patti loved being a mother and grandmother, they completed her life. As much as she spoiled her pups, Patti spoiled her family. She loved caring for them and making sure that they always had what they wanted and needed.
Surviving are her children, Todd (Janice) Stewart, Michael Stewart, Jeff (Gina) Stewart and Christopher Stewart, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Along with her parents, Patti is preceded in death by her loving husband, Greg Kozlowski.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-926-2800. A Mass will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish – St. Columbkille Church. All are asked to meet at the church. Inurnment will follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery.
