Obituary for Nancy Ann Rose

Nancy Ann Rose, 87, of McDonald, South Fayette Township, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022, in Bridgeville Rehabilitation and Care.

Miss Rose was born on May 17, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Margaret (Troy) Rose.

Nancy was a talented homemaker who loved fashion. She loved spending her time knitting especially sweaters. Everyone that knew Nancy had something that she had created in her lifetime. Nancy kept a meticulous home and there was never something out of place. As her family grew, so did Nancy’s’ heart. Her only son, Daniel, blessed her with four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Nancy loved her family so dearly and her favorite time was the time she could spend with all of them.

Surviving is her son, Daniel (Queen) Rose, of South Fayette Township, grandchildren, Danielle (Luke) Branstter, and Michael and Zipporah Rose, great grandchildren. John, Jonah, Parker and Norah, great-great grandchildren, Leighton and Everly, and siblings, Shirley, Corrine, Lloyd, Jr., and Robert.

Along with her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by the love of her life, Alfred Hickman, grandson, Joshua Rose, and sister, Diane and juvenile brother, Robert.
