MARY JO ROMITI THOMSON.
Mary Jo, 79 , of Monroeville, formerly of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, July 26, 2022, in her home.
She was born December 16, 1942, in Bulger, a daughter of the late Tony and Mary Sitarik Romiti.
Mrs. Thomson was a graduate of West Allegheny High School and was a member of the South Hills Chorale.
Surviving are her children; Lisa (Frank) Vilsack of Penn Hills, Michael Shane (Lynne) Thomson of Industry, PA and Toni Jo Gardner of Washington, PA; grandchildren, Karli Jo Schmitt, Zarley Schmitt, Jenny Castillo, Baylee Wright, Robert Gardner, Lexie Durig, Michael Gardner and one great grandson, Zar Gabriel Schmitt . Also surviving are her sister, Virginia and her brothers, Robert, Tony and Joe Romiti, all of Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Jon Michael Thomson, who passed away in 2021.
Friends will be received on Sunday 12-4 p.m. the time of service, at the Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 305 Main Street, Imperial (724-695-2800). Private inurnment will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville at a later date.
