Obituary for Marian McClellan (Balaban)
Marian (Balaban) McClellan, 85, of McDonald, passed away on, Thursday, December 23, 2021, in Washington Hospital.
Marian was born on, January 11, 1936, in Jefferson, Pa, a daughter of the late Mike and Marie (Evanesky) Balaban.
Mrs. McClellan was a retired nurse’s aide for Canonsburg Hospital. She was strong in her faith, growing up she was raised Catholic, but as she got older Marian practiced Southern Baptist. She had a special interest in collecting coins. Most importantly she cherished her grandkids. When she could she spent every moment with them. Marian loved to cook for them and her family and they always loved to gather for a meal together.
Surviving are her children, Margaret (James) Horvath Jr., Dorothy (Thomas) Merigo, and Michael McClellan, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Clare McClellan, and granddaughter, Makenzie McClellan.
