Obituary for Lucinda M. Buzza (McMurray)

Lucinda M. (McMurray) Buzza, 80, of Bridgeville, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, in St. Clair Hospital.

Lucinda was born on December 28, 1942, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Ross and Genevieve (Johnston) McMurray.

Mrs. Buzza was a retired nurses aid for over 15 years with Helping Hands. Her compassionate and kind soul was the perfect match for being a private nurse. Lucinda’s patients welcoming her into their families, was the perfect example of her caring nature. She was a loyal nurse and friend to all that she met, and she took her job very seriously. Her feisty nature but kind heart also led her to be a remarkable wife, mother, and grandmother. She was quick to protect the ones she loved and always made sure that they were cared for in whatever way they needed.

Along with her work and her family, Lucinda also had a deep and strong love for music. She was always her happiest when she was surrounded by her family and there was a good song playing. Her laughter as she shook her hand to a catchy tune is something that her family will always remember.

Another thing that always brought a smile to Lucinda’s face were animals. She loved each and every one that crossed her path.

Surviving are her children; Robert Buzza, Thomas Buzza, Angela (Adam) Gercak, and Michael Larkin, grandson, Nathan Buzza and granddaughter, Ariana Larkin.

Along with her parents, Lucinda is preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Albert Buzza and second husband, Gary Larkin, and her grandson, Stephen Buzza.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., and Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Rd., Oakdale (724-693-2800).
