Judith M. (Wells) Ceschini, 82, of Sturgeon, South Fayette Township, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh.
Judith was born on July 10, 1940, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Cecelia (Ruffing) Wells.
Mrs. Ceschini worked in the accounting department for the Bayer Corporation for a number of years. Judy was a member of St. Alphonsus Church in McDonald. Her and her beloved husband, Ferdinand, never missed a Saturday night Mass. Recently, Fred and Judy celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on October 8, 2022. Together Judy and her husband built a beautiful life together, they filled it with their children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren. With the large family that came to grow over the years there was so much love to be shared. Judith was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, there was no one she loved more in this world than her family. The laughter and smiles that came when being with Judith are memories that will now last a lifetime.
Surviving is her loving husband, Ferdinand Ceschini, children; Thomas and Elizabeth Speer, Sandra Ceschini and Synthia Contestabile, grandchildren; Tanner and Kaylee Speer, Terin Hagemann, Nico Nando Vitatoe, and Cianna and Carissa Contestabile and three great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish – St. Alphonsus Church, 219 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. All arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-926-2800).
