Obituary for Joseph L. Barish Jr.
Joseph L. Barish Jr., 90, died Sunday, October 31, 2021, in his home.
He was born June 19, 1931, in Bairdsville, PA a son of the late Andrew and Mary Kokoskie Barish.
Prior to his retirement Mr. Barish was a track inspector with the railroad and was a handyman for friends and family. He enjoyed polka dancing, especially at the local dances with all his family and friends.
Surviving are his children Ronald Barish of Bulger, Cheryl (Larry) Wardle of Washington, PA and Brian Barish of Bulger. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren; sisters Mary Ann DiBacco of McDonald, Martha Kreig of Cedar Grove, Jeanie Bish of Midway, Robert Barish of Morgan, Edward Barish of Bentlyville and Lucille Martys of Canonsburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Barish, grandchild, Leslie Patnesky, brother, Andy Barish and sister, Dorothy Kovach.
All services will be private and are entrusted to Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 106 St. John St.
