Obituary for Joanne M. O'Neill
Joanne M. O’Neill, 83, of Pittsburgh, Scott Township, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 in St. Clair Hospital.
Joanne was born on December 10, 1938, Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Marie (Scholl) O’Neill.
Ms. O’Neill was a retired legal secretary for Mellon Bank. Joanne served on the board for some time for Virginia Mansions Real Estate Group in Pittsburgh. In her free time, Joanna loved to read and spend her time shopping around town. More than anything, Joanne loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She cherished every moment that she had with them and all the love and laughter they shared.
Surviving is her son, Glenn D. (Terry) Stefanick, grandchildren; Tim (Dawn) Stefanick and Derek Stefanick, siblings; John O’Neill and Robert O’Neill, and niece, Catherine O’Neill.
Along with her parents, Joanne is preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Ann Stefanick, son Timothy Stefanick, and sister, Ellen O’Neill.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Rd., Oakdale (724-693-2800). A Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice, in memory of Joanne.
