Obituary for Joan R. Listello (Kennedy)

Joan (Kennedy) Listello, 91, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024, at home surrounded by her husband of 69 years Steve, daughter Linda, and son Steven.

A graduate of Brentwood High School, Joan worked at Calgon Corporation where she met the love of her life, Steve Listello. Later she worked as a waitress at various Stouffers Restaurants, including the Top Of The Triangle. Which was a perfect match for her vibrant personality.

Joan enjoyed crafting in her free time, especially making her own homemade jewelry.

Joan was preceded in death by her mother, Antoinette Phillips, father, Walter Kennedy, Brother, Charles Kennedy, and sister Patty O’Neill.

She is survived by her husband, daughter Linda Grove, son, Steven Listello, granddaughters Lauren Walthers, Angie Evenson, Tori Listello, Marissa Listello and 5 great grandchildren.

Joan will be missed by all who knew her.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-926-2800). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 10 a.m., at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish – St. Alphonsus Church, McDonald. ALL ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHURCH DAY OF THE SERVICE. Interment will follow at Robinson Run Cemetery.
