Obituary for James H. Brown

Mr. James H. Brown recently passed away August 4th, 2022 of natural causes, peacefully with his wife Frances of 67 years by his side.

“Jim” is a native to the area, born in Trevesken, PA 1934 and maintained a home raising two children in Bulger, PA. Jim provided honorable service to our country via the US Navy “Seabees” during trying times late in the Korean conflict. Afterwards, Jim played a critical role in constructing nuclear test reactors in preparation for commercial development. Later, Jim worked for Duquesne Light Co. until retirement 1990. During those years, he enjoyed the outdoors with his family, camping, fishing, and loved his garden.

Jim’s parents are Clair and Mamie Brown, brother Robert Brown and sister Mildred Gilson, whom are deceased. Jim is survived by his wife Frances (Wojcik) Brown, their children and spouses, son James (Jr.) and Charlotte Brown, and daughter Rene’ and Duane Conklin, as well as their children and grandchildren.

A private burial service will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA.
