Obituary for Ingeborg Saveikis (Wiesner)

Ingeborg (Wiesner) Saveikis, 78, of Oakdale, North Fayette Twp., passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, in Allegheny General Hospital.

Ingeborg was born in Frankfurt, Germany, a daughter of the late Hildagard Wiesner.

Ingeborg was a member of Montours Presbyterian Church. She also was the owner of Tonidale Yarn and Needle. Ingeborg loved to sew and teach people about sewing and yarn. She had a passion for the creations she could accomplish with her sewing machines and she loved meeting and spending time with all the people that walked through her shop.

Surviving is her son, Charles “Sonny” (Norma) Lang, stepchildren, Honorable Anthony W. Saveikis II, Richard A. Saveikis Jr., and Lurleine “Leta” Saveikis, step-grandchildren, Mariah and Jasmine Wehbe.

Along with her parents, Inga is preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard A. Saveikis, and stepdaughter, Angela Wehbe.

A memorial service to celebrate Ingeborg’s life will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 11 a.m., in the Lurleine G. Saveikis Memorial Chapel. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital. All arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory 305 Main St., Imperial (724-695-2800).
