Obituary for Frank David Reed
Frank David Reed, 76, of McDonald, PA passed away February 25, 2023. He grew up in Indianapolis, IN graduating from Ben Davis High School. Frank was employed by the Chrysler Corporation for 40 years in Indianapolis and Huntsville, AL and proudly served in the US Marine Corp.
Frank relished his time playing golf and boating with family and friends. He was an avid golfer and loved being on his boat especially at Lake Cumberland. Frank and Bertha fulfilled their love of travel and golf by visiting all 50 states while golfing along the way. There was nothing Frank loved more than his family. They were his highest priority throughout his life loving them unconditionally.
Frank is survived by his wife Bertha of 52 years, sons Michael and Matthew (Jamie), grandchildren Ella and Myles, brother Richard Reed, sister Judy Huber, sister-in-law Betty (Bob) Montgomery, brother-in-law David (Kathy) Ervin, nieces and nephews Doug, Michele, Jeff, Wendy, Laura, Kelly, Mark, Scott, Cary, David, and lifelong friends Bob and Penny Ellis.
Frank is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Reed, sister-in-law Verona Reed and brother-in-law Frank Huber.
Frank will be inurned in the columbarium at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice, in memory of Frank.
