Obituary for Frances Yerkey (McFalls)
Frances (McFalls) Yerkey, 83, of Bulger, Smith Township, passed away on, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, in Weirton Medical Center.
Frances was born in September 16, 1939, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Francis and Loretta (Bres) McFalls.
Frances was a homemaker all her life. She loved being at home and surrounding herself with her family. When her children and grandchildren were younger, Frances loved to host holidays. She would make loaves of bread and her whole house would smell like a bakery. As she and her late husband grew older together, they enjoyed getting out of the house and going shopping. Spending the time they had together was their favorite thing in the whole world. Now they are spending forever together, just as they always prayed for.
Surviving are her sons, Ray (Lisa) Yerkey and Mark Yerkey, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a sister, Betty (Rich) Liebert.
Along with her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond A. Yerkey, Sr., daughter, Marcia Lynn LeFebvre, siblings, Mary Nimal, Loretta Taylor and John McFalls.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-926-2800). A Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Robinson Run Cemetery.
