Obituary for Dru E. Ragland
Dru E. Ragland, 61, of McDonald, went home to be with the Lord on June 3, 2021, at St. Clair Hospital.
Dru was born on January 3, 1960, in McDonald, the daughter of the late Marcella Ragland (2020).
Miss Ragland was a devout member of First Baptist Church of McDonald. She loved to participate in all the church functions and worship with all of her family and friends. Dru loved a good TV show, whether it was Judge Judy or Heat of the night, her eyes were glued to the TV. Reading and cooking were another favorite past time of Dru’s. But being a mother and grandmother was the most important part of her life. Not only was she a grandmother to her special granddaughter, but her children’s dogs who she adored.
Surviving are her children, Mychal (Amy) Ragland, of Moon, and Lauren Ragland, of McDonald, granddaughter, Amara Ragland, siblings, Rhonda L. Freeman, of Florida, Christopher W. Ragland, of Florida, and Steffanie L. Ragland, of Georgia, Aunt Alice Henderson, of McDonald, and cousin, Collie Henderson.
Along with her mother, Dru is preceded in death by her sister, Laurel Y. Ragland (2014).
Friends and family will be received on Monday, June 7, 2021, from 11-12 p.m. at First Baptist Church of McDonald, 141 N McDonald St, McDonald, PA 15057. A homecoming service will be held on June 7, 2021 in the church at Noon.
