Obituary for Danek "Lyle" Knisley

Danek “Lyle” Knisley, 68, of Imperial, passed away on, Saturday, October 15, 2022, in his home.

Lyle was born on September 4, 1954, in New Martinsville, WV, a son of the late George and Isobelle (Lamasters) Knisley.

Mr. Knisley was a well educated man, he received his undergrad from Liberty University and completed his Master of Teaching in Math from Liberty University as well. Currently, Lyle worked for PJ Food Service in Cranberry as their account manager. More than anything Lyle loved nature and the things that filled it. He loved animals, especially horses and he always made sure to give to the ASPCA, to help care for the animals in need. Lyle enjoyed riding horses, reading and spending long and quiet walks in nature. His family was the most important part of his life. He loved them more than anything and they always brought a smile to his face. When Lyle and his family were altogether, that meant lots of love and laughter was to be shared between them all.

Surviving is his loving wife, Ruth (Fleischman) Knisley, children, Jason (Emily) Knisley and Amanda Knisley and grandchildren, Colton, Jax and Kimber.

Friends and family are welcomed for a Memorial Service on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 305 Main Street, Imperial (724-695-2800). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter.
