Obituary for Cora Dean Rossman (Holland)

Cora Dean (Holland) Rossman, 81, of Oakdale, South Fayette Township, passed away on January 31, 2023, in her home.

Cora was born on April 15, 1941 in Midway, a daughter of the late Bendy and Margaret (Jukes) Holland.

Cora was a retired home health aide for Odyssey Hospice and worked many years for Duerr Packaging in Oakdale and the Robinson Township Andy’s Candies.

Mrs. Rossman loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Cora was a frequent babysitter for her grandchildren. She was caring and loving, with just the perfect amount of toughness. She loved being with them and was their number one supporter whether she was cheering them on while playing or encouraging them with their studies.

Cora and her late husband, Wayne, were the perfect pair. Together they loved traveling on their trike motorcycle, and cruising down the road to stop at their favorite places always made their days. They thoroughly loved to go camping and were seasonal campers at Rocky Springs and Shenango Valley Campgrounds for many, many years. Together she and her family would gather together for a weekend filled with good food, fun, and relaxation; creating memories that will now last a lifetime.

Surviving are her children Kimberly (Matthew) Rohbeck, Tracy Schilo, and Wayne Rossman Jr; grandchildren Shannon (Brad) Hahn, Matthew (Megan) Rohbeck Jr, Katelyn Rohbeck, Rylee Rohbeck, Michael (Leah) Cherokee, and Grace Buresh; and great grandchildren Elaina and Kenzie Hahn.

Along with her parents, Cora is preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne Robert Rossman, sister, Phyllis Gromo, and brother, Lawrence Holland.

A Burial service will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville. All attending are asked to arrive between 10:30-10:50 a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Healthcare At Home – Allegheny Health Network, Office of Fund Development, 4818 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224, in memory of Cora.
