Obituary for Charles H. McLaughlin
Charles H. McLaughlin, 70, of Carnegie, Scott Township, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, in Mercy Hospital.
Charles was born on February 15, 1953, in Oakdale, a son of the late Ollie D. McLaughlin and Shirley Josey Head.
Mr. McLaughlin was a retired truck driver. In his free time, Charles enjoyed hunting and spending his time outdoors. He enjoyed riding horses ever since he was a child. Charles also enjoyed going to different car cruises around the area and spending time with his friends.
Surviving is his son, Charles McLaughlin Jr., sisters, Kimberly (Richard McAfee) McLaughlin and Deborah (the late Kenny) Zierden, granddaughter, Darian McGinnis, brother-in-law, Charles Spirik, sister-in-law, Peggy McLaughlin, and step-father, Douglas “Roger” Head.
Along with his parents Charles is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly McLaughlin, siblings, Glenn (Ethel) McLaughlin, Ralph McLaughlin and Sandra Spirik.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale (724-693-2800). A Graveside Service will be held at Robinson Run Cemetery on April 19, 2023 at 10 a.m. All are asked to meet at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home, in care of the McLaughlin Family.
