Obituary for Carol J. Moore (Bellairt)

Carol J. (Bellairt) Moore, 80, of Bridgeville, Collier Township, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, in her home.

Carol was born on May 20, 1942, in McDonald, a daughter of the late Regis and Loretta (McClain) Bellairt.

Mrs. Moore worked as a merchandising and sales representative for Kraft Foods. Carol was a faithful member of McDonald United Methodist Church, where she and her family have belonged for years. Carol was very active in her church, helping with every dinner, fundraiser and really in any way she could. Mrs. Moore knew the importance that her faith had in her life and she enjoyed giving back to the church that had helped her grow in faith.

Along with her faith, there was one more important thing in Carol’s life, her family. Carol married the love of her life, William Harry Moore, 61 years ago. Life was perfect for them; they were each other’s soulmates. Together they raised the family of their dreams, completed with their daughter, Virginia and son, William and a handful of grandchildren. Carol loved being a mother and grandmother, she cherished every moment watching her children and grandchildren grow into the people they are today. Carol was a very special person to her family and all that knew her. Now that special piece of her will always be in their hearts.

Surviving is her best friend and husband, William Harry Moore, children, Virginia (Terry) Strouss and William H. (Kimberly) Moore, grandchildren, Kathleen (Dan) Gingerich, Glen Strouss, Ellianna Moore and Maria Moore.

Along with her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Bellairt.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-926-2800). A Service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at McDonald United Methodist Church, at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
