Obituary for Brian W. McClellan

Brian W. McClellan, 38, of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 22, 2022, in his home.

Brian was born on December 14, 1983, in Pittsburgh, a son of Dorothy (McClellan) Merigo and stepson of Thomas Coughenour.

Mr. McClellan was a wood worker for Canonsburg General Wood Craft. Brian loved being outdoors spending time hunting, fishing and throwing football with his son. He enjoyed those perfect summer days when he could take a ride on his motorcycle and enjoy the road beneath him. He also, loved enjoying the sun while vacationing with his family. Although, Brian’s life was far from over, he lived a very fulfilling life. Brian was lucky enough to find his person in these few short years, Shaney. Together they had two beautiful children, Brooklynn and Hunter, they were truly the loves of his life. Brian was an outstanding companion and father. He protected his family and loved them more than words could describe. He taught them how to be strong, brave and love one another and is still continuing to teach them. Brian gave so much of his heart to his family and they will forever hold a part of him in theirs.

Along with his parents, surviving are his fiancé, Shaney Burt, children, Booklynn and Hunter McClellan, siblings, Joshua Merigo and Heather Coughenour.

Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clare and Marian McClellan.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Ave., McDonald (724-926-2800). A service will be held at 12:30 on Friday, May 27th at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Robinson Run Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home in care of the McClellan Family.
