BERNARD “Bernie” J. DHANS
Bernie, 78, of McDonald, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born January 16, 1943, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Bernard J. Dhans, Sr. and Paulline Janowsky Dhans.
Mr. Dhans was a welder with PA Transformer-McGraw Edison for 31 years and was a born again Christian. He was president of the McDonald Sportsmen Club and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his children, Michael (Denise) Dhans of Washington, Robert Dhans of McDonald and Paulet (Craig) Lang. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his children, Bernadette and Bernie Dhans and his brother, Lawrence Dhans.
Friends will be received Saturday 6-8 p.m. in the Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald (724-926-2800).
